One year in and 75 years on going. Palestinian struggle for liberation is a global struggle as seen especially in the last week. It intersects climate justice issues, indigenous rights, anti-colonialism, racial justice movements, and it is just circumstantial that we aren’t the ones recording out our front doors. 

I wrote these words and recorded this demo earlier in the year when the feelings of inaction to livestreamed genocide was getting to me and felt a responsibility to transform that. It is quite fresh and raw as demos can be. I considered re-recording, but believed in the intention of my voice in that space and decided against it. Everything feels fresh and raw at the moment.

 I was inspired by Palestinian journalists and activists who emphasized using whatever medium you can use to never stop speaking about the resistance. Urging people to use their respective platforms, that if you are a writer, to write, an artist, draw, activist, shout, and spread awareness about the struggles in Palestine and the resistance against genocidal occupying machines in motion.
